Motorcycle Driver Killed in Paso Robles

A motorcyle driver, that was not wearing a helmut, was killed in Paso Robles Sunday night. The 30-year-old man was in involved in a single vehicle accident. Witnesses say he was driving at a high rate of speed.

The man was riding near the 100 block of Pacific Street shortly before 6 p.m. when, according to police, he may have lost control of the motorcycle. He then hit a series of objects on the side of the road and crashed into a curb, police said.

His name and hometown are being withheld pending notification of his family.

He died from his injuries at a hospital in Templeton. The police are investigating the accident.
