A small plane crash near Sandy Valley, Nevada killed the pilot and only occupant of the plane. The plane was a single seat model. A small plane crashed in a wooded area of Missouri killing all three people onboard. The pilot and two passengers were a family from Iowa on their way to Alabama. They died instantly from the crash. A pilot was practicing takeoffs and landings at Salt Lake City Airport II today when the single-engine aircraft he was piloting flipped and came to rest upside-down in a field adjacent to the runway. The pilot escaped unharmed, and the FAA was called in to investigate the cause of the crash.
